As you may have already heard, today the Province announced new restrictions which take effect at 12:01am on Wednesday, Jan 5, 2022.  Included in these restrictions is the closure of indoor recreational facilities for at least 3 weeks.  
We will be cancelling all games and practices January 5-26 inclusive
We're hopeful that we'll be able to start back up Jan 26th, but will continue to keep everyone updated as we learn more.

Please note that effective immediately, provincial regulations restricting food/beverages in sport venues are in place.

No food or beverages will be permitted in the arena facilities, with the exception of water bottles for on-ice participants. This includes bringing in outside food/drink for parents, spectators, volunteers, etc.

Everyone must wear their masks 100% of the time in the arena unless participating on-ice. Read More

Please note that effective January 4, 2022, Haldimand County staff will contact trace, screen and check vaccination status (where required) for all individuals entering the arena. It is expected this will streamline the process and shorten wait times to enter arenas as we can review everything in one spot, and permit holders will no longer have to contact trace or have a delegate at the arena to complete this process.

All persons entering the Arena will be required to check in and screen. Read More

As you may be aware, the province announced last week they will be removing the exemption to show proof of vaccination for children 12-17 years old participating in organized sport effective Monday, December 20.

Therefore, County staff will be required to check for proof of vaccination (2 doses + 14 days) and personal identification for all participants, including those previously exempt or under vaccine mandates from their governing bodies starting December 20.
