Spirit Team, 2015-2016 (Cayuga Minor Hockey)

Thank you to all the Teams that showed Pink In The  Rink, in support of Anti-Bullying! Teams had creative ways of showing Pink this month. From wearing pink, to pink tape, to pink numbers, to pink anti-bullying posters to Pink Jerseys worn by the Juvenile team!Special thanks to Cayuga Car Wash and Cayuga Foodland that sponsored the winning ice time and pizza. Each participating team was given a ballot and a draw was done to determine this month's winner . . .

Thank you to all the teams that participated in the January Fun Team Picture challenge. The pictures were awesome! All of them different and so enjoyable to look at. Let's show our support for Anti-bullying. Have your team use their creative talents and show Pink in the Rink this month. It can be by wearing pink, making a sign, using pink tape. The December Challenge was to Give Back to our Community . . . and our teams did an amazing job! The team's and their parents were so thoughtful and in turn it helped show the Community how much Cayuga Minor Hockey cares! A very special Thank you to Jeff Potter of Re/Max Realty for supporting this month's challenge. The teams that participated learned the value of helping others and how they can "give back" . . . Wonderful Life Lessons! With good hearted competition, teams that did a good deed for those in our community, were entered into a draw to win an hour of ice time and a pizza party. ...

There were 13 teams that participated in the November Challenge to make a decoration for the Cayuga Christmas Parade, Minor Hockey float! What an amazing sample of Team Spirit! Together teams created a beautiful and creative float, showing what they thought a "Canadian Christmas" was. This month's sponsor, Grand River Heating & Cooling, Amanda Ibbott was thrilled to see our group's accomplishments. She had the difficult job of judging the entries and would have gladly chosen them all! A team decoration was chosen and that team was . . . .
