Following the well fought semi-final battle win over Twin Center, the Midget Reps would travel to Ayr for the Southern Counties Finals on Saturday, April 2nd to take on the Ayr Flames.

Following the well fought semi-final battle win over Twin Center, the Midget Reps would travel to Ayr for the Southern Counties Finals on Saturday, April 2nd to take on the Ayr Flames. The game was fast paced with many scoring opportunities at both ends, the score would remain tight in the opening periods, with the Stars finding their way to the penalty box yet again in the 3rd period. As a result of a great deal of practice and commitment throughout the season at the penalty kill, Cayuga was able to sustain the opponents driving power plays, and in the end were able to regroup and reward themselves with a hard-played, well deserved and impressive 5-2 team victory. Players of the team contributing to the win were Wade Keenan, Ryan Clarke, Brett Stroud, Sam Gowland, Easton Mayner, Josh Evans, Zach Vermeulen, Matt Kinnear, Tyler Loney, Ben Polawski, Noah Lymburner, Ben Cullen, Jake Alfano, Milos Todorovic, Zach Arnold.
