The midget rep team is headed to the big show! No, not the
NHL; the International Silver Stick. After winning the Regional Championship in
Wasaga Beach, the Midget Rep boys have earned a spot in the very prestigious tournament.
Three days of hard fought games have afforded these boys a once in a long shot opportunity. It was well deserved with 3 of the 5 games being solved by 1 goal.
"The boys went 5-0-0. 17 goals for. 6 goals against" said Head Coach, Brennan Brown. "Those accomplishments at such an elite level tournament should give these kids all the confidence they need to go into Forest and be prepared for the competition"
A meeting with local team, Port Dover set the stage for the finals. Earlier this season Port Dover beat Cayuga twice in exhibition play. This wouldn't be the case in Wasaga Beach. The team went out there and skated over the opponents. Beating them 6-2 in what the coaches call "The best game this team has played all year"
Please show the boys your support by wishing them luck next weekend! Follow along @
